Combining the traditional craftsmanship of skilled kumihimo artisans in Kyoto with a newly developed attachment mechanism designed for enhanced practicality, ARTISAN & ARTIST*expresses its commitment to both functionality and beauty through every detail of the product.
The central hand stitching on the leather tab, which is normally finished in white on standard models, has been changed to a special gray color for this edition.
The reverse side of the leather tab features a silver foil-stamped “35th Anniversary”inscription, adding a subtle yet distinctive mark of this commemorative model.
For the first time, this product incorporates a newly developed camera-specific ring jointly created with WAVECLIPS, a brand developed by MAENI Co., Ltd. Manufactured in Japan, the ring features a unique wave-shaped design that takes advantage of the excellent elasticity of spring-grade stainless steel. This structure allows the camera strap ring to smoothly slide onto the camera’s eyelet and attach securely with minimal effort. Created through a deep understanding of material properties and a commitment to precision and usability, this innovative attachment represents the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship.
The series is available in two models: the ACAM-301AE in a standard length, and the ACAM-306AE in a longer length for shoulder or crossbody carrying.
Each strap is presented in a premium gift box featuring an exclusive 35th Anniversarycommemorative logo. In addition, the first production run includes a limited-edition original key ring engraved with “35th Anniversary”and fitted with a WAVECLIPSring.
